Motion Graphic Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Designer to produce and oversee digital and print creative solutions to address our client marketing needs. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of motion graphic design, styles and layout techniques. You should also have experience executing marketing projects from conception to production, including websites, brochures and social media creatives. Ultimately, you will ensure the motion graphic design team promotes our brand through delivering high quality pieces on tight deadlines. Responsibilities Prepare design plan, concept and layout for motion graphic projects. Design and create compelling and engaging videos and motion graphics that reflect a brand-centric approach, including corporate videos, testimonial videos, infomercials, marketing demos, etc. Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics. Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics. Complement marketing campaigns with innovative motion graphic idea. Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files. Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design techniques Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. Requirements Minimum 3 years of motion design experience within an in-house creative team, ad agency, or production house. Strong understanding of professional video production, including pre-production, production, and post-production environments, workflows, equipment and technologies. Ability to convey ideas and present designs and concepts Conceptual thinking in both storytelling and motion design. Ability to conceptualize and execute the projects independently. Strong knowledge and technical proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro, compositing, media encoding, transcoding and video processing. Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with recording and cleaning audio. 3D software experience such as Cinema 4D, Blender is a bonus. Ability to shoot video with DSLR or Pro XD cameras (including working knowledge of lighting and staging) Ability to work with audio editing software such as Audacity or Adobe Audition High attention to details Excellent written and spoken English.
