As the Founding Motion Designer at MeantToBe Inc., a venture-backed, stealth-stage technology company focusing on next-generation matchmaking and relationship platforms, you will be instrumental in shaping the reliability, scalability, and developer velocity of the platforms right from the start. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conceptualize, design, and animate motion graphics for various purposes such as social campaigns, product launches, UI/product interactions, and brand films. - Develop engaging social assets including Reels, TikToks, Stories, GIFs, kinetic type, and short-form edits to enhance user engagement. - Design and prototype motion for product UI elements like micro-interactions, feature reveals, and onboarding flows to create intuitive and lively tech experiences. - Collaborate closely with Creative, Product, and Marketing teams to transform strategies into visually coherent campaigns. - Repurpose and create new quick-turn content, ensuring work is platform-native and share-ready. - Provide support in post-production activities such as editing, transitions, and sound design direction. - Stay updated on design, animation, and platform trends, bringing fresh ideas and experimentation into the company's creative language. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 3 years of experience in motion design, preferably in a creative agency, social-first brand, or product-driven company. - Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating social motion content and brand/product storytelling. - Background in graphic design with a keen eye for layout, typography, composition, color, and timing. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Knowledge of 3D tools like Cinema4D, Blender, etc. is advantageous. - Hands-on experience in shooting and editing short content using DSLR or mobile devices. - Effective communicator who excels in collaborative, fast-paced environments. - Deep understanding of internet and social culture with a passion for exploring innovative formats.
