Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons using play-way, activity-based, and experiential learning methods.
Create a warm, caring, and child-friendly classroom environment that ensures emotional security for students.
Teach foundational concepts in language, numeracy, EVS, phonics, storytelling, and communication.
Observe each child's learning pace, behaviour, and development, and maintain detailed progress records.
Conduct class activities, worksheets, art & craft, rhymes, games, and hands-on learning tasks.
Ensure safety, hygiene, and wellbeing of children inside the classroom and during school hours.
Maintain attendance records, student files, report cards, and assessment documents.
Participate in PTMs, school events, celebrations, assemblies, competitions, and training programs.
Coordinate with co-teachers, academic coordinators, and support staff for smooth functioning of the class.
Decorate and maintain classroom learning corners, boards, and displays to enhance child engagement.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate / Post Graduate (BA, B.Sc, B.Com)
Experience: 1-5 years as Pre-Primary / Primary Mother Teacher (freshers with strong aptitude may also be considered)

Excellent communication and fluency in English.
Warm, patient, caring, and child-centric approach.
Understanding of early childhood development, behaviour patterns, and learning needs.
Ability to handle children with empathy, discipline, and emotional maturity.
Good coordination, teamwork, and record-keeping skills.
