Key Responsibilities.

Academic Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver child-centred, age-appropriate lessons across all foundational subjects.
• Create weekly and monthly lesson plans as per school curriculum and CBSE guidelines.
• Use activity-based, experiential and play-based teaching methodologies.
• Assess student learning through regular classwork, worksheets, observations and informal assessments.
• Maintain individual child progress records and portfolios.
• Identify slow learners and provide remedial support.

Classroom Management

• Maintain a positive, caring and inclusive classroom environment.
• Ensure student safety, well-being and discipline at all times.
• Organise classroom materials, learning corners and displays.
• Establish routines for arrival, dispersal, meal time, washroom breaks, etc.

Student Development

• Encourage holistic development—language, numeracy, creativity, motor skills, values and social skills.
• Promote good habits, hygiene, courtesy and positive behaviour.
• Observe and report any developmental concerns to the coordinator and parents.

Parent Engagement

• Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings (PTMs).
• Maintain strong communication with parents through diaries, apps or school platforms.
• Address parental concerns professionally and guide parents on child development.

Administrative Duties

• Prepare teaching aids, worksheets and assessment records.
• Maintain attendance, health records and documentation.
• Support school events, celebrations, assemblies and competitions.
• Assist in admission interactions, orientations and counselling sessions.

Required Qualifications & SkillsEducational Qualifications

• Graduation + B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. / ECCEd. (as per school requirement)
• Training in Early Childhood Education (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
