Responsibilities

Deploy and maintain MongoDB / Atlas Database / DB projects.
Maintain detailed documentation of database design, architecture, and setups.
Establish procedures for backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
Administer MongoDB to achieve maximum availability and performance.
Design and implement sharding and indexing strategies for MongoDB.
Configure and monitor replica sets.
Perform patch upgrades.

Good to Have

Design and build operational infrastructure to support databases, automating where possible.
Establish database security procedures.
Create users, assign roles, and manage permissions.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and standards.
Provide support to the user community using incident/problem management tools.
