Job Description

Job Summary: The Modular Furniture Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing modular furniture such as kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, TV units, office furniture, and storage systems at the workshop or customer site. The role requires precision, technical skills, teamwork, and understanding of product drawings and installation guidelines. Key Responsibilities:Install modular furniture components such as cabinets, shutter fittings, carcass, drawers, channels, hinges, handles, and hardware. Read and interpret installation drawings, measurement sheets, and layouts. Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and fitting during installation. Use tools such as screwdrivers, drill machine, jigsaw, measuring tape, spirit level, etc. Install hardware including Hettich, Hafele, Ebco, Godrej, and similar branded fittings. Handle minor site adjustments and modifications when required. Coordinate with site supervisor, carpenter, and designer for smooth execution. Ensure clean, safe, and neat workmanship before handover. Identify and report site challenges, missing materials, or design issues. Follow company safety practices and maintain tools in proper condition.
