Modular Furniture Fitter

Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Modular Furniture Fitter with 2–3 years of experience in assembling and installing modular furniture such as wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, office furniture, and storage units, along with hands-on experience in sales within a shop/furniture shop environment. The candidate should be skilled in using tools, reading design drawings, ensuring high-quality fittings, and handling customer sales effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install modular furniture (kitchens, wardrobes, office units, etc.).
• Read and understand design drawings and measurements.
• Ensure accurate alignment, finishing, and stability of installations.
• Handle tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Repair or adjust fittings when required.
• Maintain site cleanliness and follow safety standards.
• Assist customers in the shop by explaining product features, pricing, and offers.
• Handle billing, payments, and maintain accurate sales records.
• Promote additional products and services to achieve sales targets.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience as a Modular Furniture Fitter / Carpenter.
• Experience in sales or customer handling in a retail/furniture shop/shop environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and take precise measurements.
• Skilled in using fitting tools and hardware.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for sales.
• Team player with problem-solving ability.
