Mobile Security Testing

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive application security testing using SAST, DAST, and SCA tools across mobile platforms.
• Conduct in-depth penetration testing of Android and iOS applications and document detailed vulnerability reports with remediation guidance.
• Execute secure code reviews and AI security testing to identify potential security flaws and logic vulnerabilities.
• Carry out threat modeling and vulnerability assessments to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.
• Review application and system architectures to uncover design-level security weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Assess and ensure security controls for cloud-hosted applications on AWS and Azure.
• Collaborate closely with development and engineering teams to explain security findings and promote secure coding practices.
• Apply reverse engineering techniques to analyze mobile applications for hidden or complex vulnerabilities.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities affecting mobile and application ecosystems.
• Adapt security testing approaches to new technologies, tools, and unfamiliar environments as required.

Experience Required:

• 6 - 8 years of experience in application security testing, penetration testing, or security research.
• Strong expertise in mobile application penetration testing for Android and iOS platforms.
• Proven experience with SAST, DAST, SCA tools, and manual security testing techniques.
• Experience conducting secure code reviews and threat modeling exercises.
• Hands-on exposure to cloud security concepts and testing in AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Ability to analyze complex applications and architectures for security vulnerabilities.
• Experience in AI security testing and reverse engineering is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
