Mobile Platform Architect

Job Purpose

Design and oversee the architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications across platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical standards and ensure seamless integration with backend systems.

Role & responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, secure, and reusable architecture for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams throughout the mobile app lifecycle.
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless mobile app builds, testing, and deployments.
• Ensure adherence to platform-specific guidelines and optimize apps for performance, security, and user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to define mobile solutions aligned with business goals.
• Lead code and design reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor developers on architecture patterns and platform capabilities.
• Stay updated on the latest mobile trends, SDKs, tools, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Manage app store submissions, troubleshoot deployment issues, and monitor app performance post-release.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to review and refine mobile feature requirements.
• Design and document architectural solutions for new and existing mobile app components.
• Write and review code for critical app modules, ensuring performance, scalability, and platform compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in both iOS and Android builds or deployments.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD workflows for continuous integration, testing, and delivery of mobile apps.
• Conduct code and architecture reviews, providing mentorship and guidance to mobile developers.
• Monitor and analyze mobile app performance metrics and crash reports, proposing improvements.
• Stay current with new mobile technologies, frameworks, and platform updates, sharing relevant insights with the team.

Key skills :

• Deep knowledge of iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java), and experience with cross-platform frameworks like

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and backend systems, including

  cloud platforms

• Strong grasp of mobile security best practices (encryption, secure storage, OAuth2, biometric authentication, SSL pinning).
