Mobile Automation Test Engineer

As an Automation Test Engineer at Mallow Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality delivery of mobile applications by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for Android and iOS platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Appium or any related tool for mobile applications (Android/iOS). - Collaborating with developers, QA team members, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios. - Executing automated regression suites as part of the CI/CD pipeline. - Performing functional, regression, and compatibility testing for mobile platforms. - Logging, tracking, and retesting defects in Jira or equivalent tools. - Supporting manual testing when required, focusing on exploratory and edge-case scenarios. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 2+ years of hands-on experience with Appium or any related tool (Java/Python preferred). - Good understanding of mobile testing concepts such as UI, gestures, device compatibility, and network conditions. - Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Git for version control. - Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira or Azure Boards. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in an Agile environment. Nice-to-have skills include knowledge of cloud-based mobile testing platforms, experience in API testing using Postman/RestAssured, and ISTQB or similar certification.
