Milling Machine Operator

We are looking for M1TR machine operator with minimum 1 year experience. job involves setting up and operating M1TR milling machines to manufacture parts according to specifications. Key responsibilities include reading engineering drawings, performing machining operations like milling and drilling, inspecting finished parts with precision instruments, and performing routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep the machine running efficiently and safely.  Key responsibilities Operation: Set up and operate M1TR milling machines for tasks such as drilling, boring, and end milling. Setup: Position and secure fixtures and tools on the machine and adjust settings for optimal performance. Reading and interpreting: Read engineering drawings and blueprints to understand dimensions, tolerances, and required specifications. Quality control: Inspect machined parts using precision measuring tools like vernier calipers and micrometers to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks, clean the machine, monitor tool wear, and make minor repairs as needed. Safety and reporting: Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines, monitor the production process, log operational data, and report any issues to a supervisor. Collaboration: Work closely with production supervisors and other team members to meet daily production targets and timelines.  Skills and qualifications Experience: Previous experience operating M1TR or similar DRO (Digital Readout) milling machines is preferred. Technical skills: Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints is essential. Measuring tools: Proficiency with precision measuring instruments like vernier calipers and micrometers is required. Other skills: Strong attention to detail, concentration, and mechanical aptitude are important. Familiarity with GD&T symbols and knowledge of plastic mold processes can be beneficial.
