MIG/TIG Welder

Key Responsibilities: - Read weldment drawings, plan tools & consumables requirements, and obtain items from stores. - Inspect raw materials and items to be welded before starting the welding process to ensure quality and quantity. - Fit-up by tack welding mating parts and check for fit-up quality according to the tolerances specified in the drawings. - Perform full welding of the fit-up as per the specifications. - Dress the welds using an angle grinder. - Check and maintain welding machines daily to ensure functionality. Qualification Required: - Proven experience as a TIG and MIG welder. - Skill in operating with steadiness and dexterity on both types of welding machinery. - Ability to perform DP tests. - Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings. - Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and write in English will be an advantage. - A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach. - Good communication abilities.,
