Job Title: Marketing Executive / Engineer – Rolling Mill Division Department: Marketing & Sales Location: Raipur Chhattisgarh Experience Required: 2 – 8 years (in Rolling Mill / Steel Plant Marketing) Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent --- Job Summary: Responsible for developing and expanding the customer base for rolling mill equipment, spare parts, and related steel plant products. The role involves technical marketing, client interaction, project coordination, and achieving sales targets through strong technical and market understanding. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in steel and rolling mill industries. Conduct market research and analyse competitor activities, customer demand, and pricing trends. Promote rolling mill machinery, equipment, consumables, and spare parts to existing and potential clients. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to customers. Understand client requirements and coordinate with the design/production team for customized solutions. Prepare quotations, tenders, and techno-commercial proposals. Visit client sites for meetings, inspection, or commissioning discussions. Follow up for order finalization, payment collection, and after-sales support. Maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, steel plant maintenance teams, and procurement departments. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Skills Required: Strong technical knowledge of rolling mill operations, layout, and mechanical components. Good understanding of steel grades, process flow, and mill consumables. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), CRM tools preferred. Willingness to travel frequently for business visits and client meetings. Preferred Background: Experience with manufacturers or suppliers of rolling mill machinery, E.O.T. Cranes & Spare parts, gearboxes, rollers, or mill automation systems Etc.
