1. Role: Accountant (Pune) – Responsibilities

Core Accounting Tasks

• Bookkeeping in Tally (Prime / ERP)

• Journal entries, bank book, ledgers

• Purchase, sales, expenses recording

• Client/merchant reconciliation

• Monthly TDS calculations

• TDS challan payments

• Quarterly TDS returns

• GST

• Input/output GST tracking

• Monthly GST computation

• Coordination with CA for GST filings

• Maintain GST summaries & working papers

Operations / Follow-up Tasks

• Payment Follow-ups

• Track outstanding payments

• Send reminders to merchants/clients

• Maintain ageing reports

• Merchant Coordination

• Request validation reports

• Raise invoices & share backup documents

• Track acknowledgements

• Ensure payment cycle accuracy

• General tasks

• Maintain documentation

• Support annual audit

• Maintain MIS reports

Must-have

• Strong Tally Prime knowledge

• Understanding of GST & TDS

• Good Excel/Google Sheets skills

• Basic accounting principles clear

• Good communication for follow-ups with merchants

• Disciplined & detail-oriented

• Minimum 1–3 years experience
