Mid Java Developer

Role Overview: As a Mid-Level Engineer at Aumni's client, MessageGears, you will be an integral part of the high-performing team, contributing to a high-throughput application, influencing product design, and mentoring other engineers. Your role requires you to be a motivated self-starter capable of balancing product requirements against a complex architecture while consistently delivering high-quality, clean code. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Scrum Team and Product to break down Epics into User Stories and Tasks. - Implement features, test automation, and data persistence layers. - Conduct peer reviews of code changes. - Validate and test code in QA environments. - Collaborate with Support on customer escalations. - Monitor and troubleshoot application performance. - Identify challenges and propose improvements for delivery processes. - Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. - Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualification Required: - Proficiency in Agile Software Development practices. - 2+ years of experience in SaaS or on-premises product-based software businesses. - 2+ years in object-oriented programming (Java). - Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., JUnit, Cypress). - Ability to design solutions spanning multiple codebases and components. - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field. - 2+ years of experience in a product company preferred.
