About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MS SQL Developer with extensive experience in database design, development, and optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing complex SQL queries, designing data models, optimizing database performance, and managing job scheduling tools like AutoSys or Control-M. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on SQL expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and functions.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Perform query plan analysis and recommend performance improvements.
• Collaborate with application and data teams to define database architecture and data flow.
• Design and maintain logical and physical data models.
• Schedule, monitor, and manage automated jobs using AutoSys or Control-M.
• Implement database best practices, including indexing strategies, normalization, and data integrity checks.
• Ensure database security, backup, and recovery as per organizational standards.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all database solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support integration, migration, and automation initiatives.
• Leverage Python (if applicable) for data automation, validation, or integration tasks.
