Microsoft Dynamics Accountant- Greater Noida

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical Senior Accountant to join our finance team and support the financial operations of a global subscription-based paywall platform. In this role, you will oversee all accounting processes related to credit card transactions, international VAT/GST compliance, revenue recognition, and tax reporting for digital services.

This is a key position at the intersection of e-commerce, SaaS, and content monetization, working with stakeholders across legal, compliance, tech, and customer support.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Revenue & Payments
• Reconcile daily credit card transactions across multiple payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Adyen).
• Monitor chargebacks, refunds, and payout schedules to platform users or content creators.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with digital service standards and IFRS/GAAP.
• International VAT & Tax Compliance
• Monitor and manage VAT, GST, and digital service tax obligations in the EU, UK, Canada, Australia, and other jurisdictions.
• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly international VAT returns, including OSS/IOSS for the EU.
• Maintain country-specific tax rate tables and ensure correct tax calculation on global transactions.
• Stay current on international tax regulations affecting digital platforms and services.
• General Accounting & Reporting
• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Support internal and external audits; liaise with tax advisors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with engineering and product teams to enhance financial and tax automation tools.
• Work with customer support on billing or tax-related user inquiries.

*Preferred candidate profile*

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent is preferred.
• 35 years of accounting experience, ideally in e-commerce, SaaS, or digital service environments.
• Strong knowledge of global VAT/GST systems and tax rules for digital goods/services.
• Familiarity with credit card processing, payment gateways, and fraud mitigation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics

  software.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, SQL) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive financial data.
