Job Title: QC Microbiologist (Pharmaceuticals)

Position 1: QC Microbiologist (Senior)

Experience Required: 3 to 4 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, water, intermediates, and finished products.
• Perform Sterility, BET, MLT, and Environmental Monitoring as per SOPs and pharmacopeia guidelines.
• Support cleanroom qualification, disinfectant efficacy studies, and media fill validation.
• Handle equipment such as autoclave, incubators, particle counters, and air samplers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with cGMP and GLP standards.

Position 2: QC Microbiologist (Junior)

Experience Required: 1 to 2 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in microbial testing of water, air, surfaces, and production environment.
• Perform microbial limit tests, basic media preparation, and growth promotion testing.
• Support routine environmental monitoring and documentation activities.
• Maintain good lab hygiene and sterilization procedures.

Qualifications for Both Roles:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology or related discipline.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical QC microbiology laboratory is a must.
• Good understanding of regulatory and cGMP requirements.
