Role & responsibilities

Job Summary
• Develop and design business intelligence solutions using Microstrategy platform • Create and maintain reports, documents, Dossiers, Cubes and dashboards, Schema design for data analysis • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Database and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions • Optimize and enhance existing Microstrategy products • Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to Microstrategy implementation

Expertise in development of reports in fast paced enterprise environment.
Very strong SQL skills, preferably Teradata, HQL, SQL. • Knowledge on building reports using Tableau will be a plus. • Subject knowledge in MicroStrategy deployment architecture. • Strong follow-up skills; demonstrated accountability for role and responsibilities. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience working in an Agile development environment

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement MicroStrategy Bl solutions, including reports, dashboards, and scorecards • Work closely with business users to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications • Develop and maintain MicroStrategy metadata, including creating and modifying attributes, hierarchies, and facts • Perform data analysis and develop complex SQL queries for use in MicroStrategy reporting • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MicroStrategy Bl solutions and provide technical support to end users • Stay up-to-date with the latest MicroStrategy features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements • Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure that MicroStrategy solutions integrate seamlessly with other systems and applications • Develop and maintain documentation related to MicroStrategy Bl solutions Strategy Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role Business Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates Processes Responsible for Developing and delivering the S&T data services reporting solutions. People & Talent • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners. • Ensure the attendance of ongoing training and development of people and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks. • Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.

Risk Management
• Responsibilities relating to identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group, as well as an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them. For example - The ability to interpret the Group's financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.


Governance • Responsibilities relating to the direction, planning, structure, frameworks (e.g. processes and policies) and oversight. For example, Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas; Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.


Regulatory & Business Conduct • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Key stakeholders • HR Business Partners, HR COE's, HR LT, HR MT, Workforce Planning Heads

Education
• EDUCATION Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field • TRAINING MICROSTRATEGY REPORT DEVELOPER • CERTIFICATIONS MicroStrategy certification is a plus • LANGUAGES SQL,TERADATA. HQL
