Mgr Scrum Delivery Lead

As a Manager Scrum Delivery Lead at CME Group, your primary responsibility will be to enable Scrum Master excellence. You will ensure that the Scrum Masters are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to optimize SAFe and Scrum processes within the Portfolio. By leading the Scrum Masters, you will align people, processes, and tools to maintain a cohesive Scrum Master practice and drive value within the organization. **Areas of Responsibility:** - Manage Scrum Master team members to meet the talent needs of pods and product teams. - Act as a direct line manager for up to 12 Scrum Masters, working closely with Pod members to deliver value to customers. - Foster a healthy team culture based on humility, respect, and trust. - Build psychological safety within the team to encourage risk-taking, innovation, and iterative learning. - Support the team in navigating ambiguity, identifying trade-offs, and building consensus. - Coach Scrum Masters to drive best practices and ensure alignment across the organization. - Collaborate with various stakeholders to define skills and resources required for deliverables and hire team members fitting these requirements. - Solicit and share feedback between stakeholders and team members. - Ensure that Scrum Masters have the capability and motivation to deliver. - Align team members" personal career development with business objectives and identify growth opportunities. **Process Enablement:** - Design and implement process solutions that empower the team to solve problems and maximize flow. - Act as a Scrum Master when needed. **Skills & Software Requirements:** - Proven expertise as a Scrum Master in the financial industry, focusing on SAFe and Scrum practices. - People leadership experience is a plus. - Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a diverse team. - Knowledge of organizational and facilitation tools. - Familiarity with CME Group Application Ecosystem.
