Role & responsibilities Operate CMM machines (manual and/or CNC) for part inspection and measurement. Perform layout inspections and testing of components as per drawings and specifications. Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) from engineering drawings. Conduct MSA studies including Gage R&R and correlation studies. Utilize quality instruments such as vernier callipers, micrometre, height gauges, and surface testers. Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment. Document inspection results and report any non-conformances. Support quality audits and corrective/preventive action activities. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Preferred candidate profile ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2+ years of experience in a quality inspection role. Hands-on experience with CMM operations (Zeiss, Mitutoyo, Hexagon, etc.). Strong understanding of GD&T, MSA, and quality control processes. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.) is a plus. Good communication and problem-solving skills

Failure Analysis: Investigate and troubleshoot coating failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Research and Development: New Materials and Techniques: Explore and identify new materials and coating techniques to improve performance and expand capabilities. Advanced Coatings: Research and develop advanced coatings for specialized applications (e.g., laser optics, space optics). Project Management and Communication: Project Planning: Plan and manage coating-related projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources. Technical Documentation: Document coating processes, procedures, and test results. Communication: Effectively communicate technical information to colleagues, managers, and customers.
