Job Description

  • Design steel castings based on customer requirements and foundry capabilities.
  • Develop and modify 2D/3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Design tooling including patterns, core boxes, gating, and riser systems.
  • Perform casting simulations (e.g., MAGMASOFT, ProCAST) to predict and eliminate defects.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and performance.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and sales teams to ensure project success.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications.
  • Assist in troubleshooting casting defects and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and revision history.
  • Support continuous improvement and new product development initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹268,078.23 - ₹1,150,246.01 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay
  • Yearly bonus
