Job Summary

Were looking for a MERN Stack Intern to join our engineering team. This is a hands-on role where youll build real features, work on production-grade code, and get exposure to browser extension development, microservices, and AI-augmented tooling.This internship is ideal for someone whos excited to learn, ship fast, and grow in a fast-paced fintech startup environment.

Where You Can Create Impact

• Build front-end components and pages using React / Next.js, with SSR, SSG, and API routes
• Design, manage, and query MongoDB databases using Mongoose or native drivers
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js
• Implement basic browser extension functionality (manifests, background/content scripts, messaging)
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate specs into functional features
• Write clean, maintainable code with inline documentation and basic unit tests
• (Optional) Develop lightweight Python microservices using Flask or Django
  

Requirements For The Role

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+); familiarity with TypeScript is a bonus
• Experience with React, Node.js, and Express.js
• Knowledge of MongoDB schema design and querying
• Understanding of browser extension architecture and APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and a learners mindset
  

Nice to Have

• End-to-end experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with Flask or Django
• Experience with Git workflows (feature branches, PRs, rebasing)
