MERN Stack Developer

Job Description

A MERN Stack Developer at DataNova in Ahmedabad is expected to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. This hybrid role involves both front-end and back-end development responsibilities. Tasks Key Responsibilities: Front-End Development: Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js, ensuring compatibility across various devices and browsers. Back-End Development: Develop server-side logic and APIs with Node.js and Express.js to handle data processing and integration. Database Management: Design and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to deliver high-quality products. Version Control: Utilize Git for version control to manage codebase changes effectively. Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure application functionality and performance. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and deployment processes. Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience (typically 1-3 years) in full-stack development using the MERN stack. Experience managing third-party API integration with rate-limiting, token based authentication and data processing. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related front-end technologies. Experience building visualization dashboard in React / Next JS Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
