MERN Fullstack Developer (React & NodeJS)

You will be responsible for developing scalable and highly available Restful APIs using NodeJS technologies. Your role will involve actively solving and troubleshooting issues in a distributed services ecosystem. It is essential for you to have a thorough understanding of containerization and experience with Dockers and Kubernetes. Additionally, you should be exposed to API gateway integrations like 3Scale and have a good grasp of Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication methods such as Rest, JWT, and OAuth. As a MERN Fullstack Developer, you must possess expert knowledge of task/message queues, including but not limited to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka. Practical experience with GraphQL is considered a plus. Your responsibilities will also include writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, as well as developing responsive web-based UI. Familiarity with Styled Components, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, and other CSS-in-JS techniques is required. You should have a strong understanding of platform responsibilities, databases, APIs, caching layers, proxies, and other web services used in the system. Writing non-blocking code and resorting to advanced techniques like multi-threading when necessary are key aspects of this role. Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, is essential. Familiarity with React.js and its core principles, as well as modern front-end build pipelines and tools, is crucial. Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Flux, Redux, ContextAPI, or Data Structures will be beneficial. You should have a knack for benchmarking and optimization, along with proficiency in the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript or TypeScript). Knowledge of React and common tools used in the wider React ecosystem, such as npm and yarn, is required. Additionally, familiarity with common programming tools like RESTful APIs, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools, as well as CI/CD tools, is essential. An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle, is also expected. Unit testing using Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, or equivalent frameworks, and understanding of linter libraries like TSLINT and Prettier are necessary for this role.
