Merchandiser

You will be joining W.H. Deeth & Company, a distinguished exporter of high-quality carpets and rugs for more than 5 decades, serving esteemed clients in the USA, UK, UAE, and parts of the EU. Our clientele includes high-end interior designers, design-based firms focusing on hospitality and custom residential projects, and a range of retailers catering to mass public buying. As a Merchandiser based in Delhi, India, you will be taking on a full-time on-site role. Your main responsibilities will revolve around supervising production processes, driving product development initiatives, and implementing effective promotion strategies for our carpets and rugs. A typical day in this role will involve tasks such as collaborating with suppliers, ensuring quality control measures, devising merchandising plans, and engaging with customers to comprehend their specific requirements. To excel in this position, you should possess a set of qualifications that include excellent communication skills for interactions with vendors and customers, proficiency in sales and production coordination, a solid understanding of marketing principles, prior experience in the textile or home decor industry, adept negotiation abilities, strong problem-solving aptitude, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
