Merchandiser & Production Assistant

Job Description:

Experience (In Year):2 - 4

Location: Khar,Mumbai.

Industry: Fashion Design.

• Vendor Management:
• Coordinate daily with vendors, tailors, and sampling units
• Negotiate timelines, costs, and quality expectations
• Manage outsourcing of embroidery, dyeing, printing, etc.
• Production Planning & Tracking:
• Maintain production timelines and calendars
• Track the status of each order and follow up proactively
• Ensure timely handovers between sampling, production, and packaging
• Inventory & Fabric Management:
• Keep real-time records of fabrics, trims, and stock
• Manage fabric ordering, consumption logs, and reorders
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing inventory with the warehouse
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain production reports, PO trackers, and costing sheets
• Prepare daily/weekly status updates for internal review
• Quality Checks:
• Conduct random QC checks or coordinate third-party QC
• Flag and troubleshoot production issues early.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
