Job Description

Opportunity at UNM Foundation, a CSR arm of Torrent Group;

Roles & Responsibilities

Execute mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and firefighting works as per approved drawings and specifications.
Prepare accurate
Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
based on design drawings and project requirements.
Review and verify contractor/vendor bills for correctness and compliance.
Interpret technical drawings and ensure proper implementation on-site.
Maintain
daily progress reports
, monitor work quality, and enforce high standards of workmanship.
Conduct
safety inspections
and ensure adherence to safety protocols at the site.
Coordinate effectively with
architects, consultants, procurement teams, and vendors
to ensure timely and smooth project execution.
Support in resolving technical issues and provide on-site guidance to teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience:
3-4 years of hands-on experience in
MEPF works
at construction sites.
Strong understanding of
mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems
.
Familiarity with
AutoCAD
and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Familiarity with MS Office tools
Good communication and coordination skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
