MEP Engineer

You will be responsible for managing multiple MEP projects to ensure smooth progress from the design phase to the delivery stage. This includes preparing cost estimates for electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems. Your role will involve overseeing the project management team and ensuring that project schedules are adhered to. You will be coordinating on-site activities with architects, structural engineers, and electrical engineers. Additionally, you will provide installation, maintenance, and technical advice on MEP systems to service providers, supervisors, and inspectors. It will be your responsibility to inspect, analyze, and provide solutions for engineering issues related to MEP features. You will review and evaluate the work of contractors, consultants, and other construction professionals, ensuring compliance with the MEP design plan. Furthermore, you will review contractor drawings and installation method statements to confirm their alignment with the MEP design. You will be required to make technical clarifications to address coordination issues and design modifications based on specific on-site construction requirements. Monitoring and enforcing on-site health and safety policies will also be part of your duties, with the aim of ensuring compliance among the crew. In addition to on-site responsibilities, you will conduct off-site inspections of MEP equipment and materials to ensure regulatory compliance and project suitability.
