We are looking for a skilled Senior MEP Engineer to manage the planning, design, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in construction projects. The role requires ensuring the integration of all MEP systems and ensuring compliance with safety, quality standards, and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure proper integration of systems. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. Assist in the preparation of technical submittals, ensuring all submissions comply with the project specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure MEP work is in compliance with design and safety standards. Check contractors' bills and certifications to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Oversee the testing and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure functionality and compliance with relevant standards. Ensure adherence to all relevant IS codes, safety protocols, and quality standards. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering , Electrical and Electronics Engineering , or Mechanical Engineering . Minimum 10-15 years of experience in MEP roles within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of MEP works, relevant IS codes, material testing, and quality standards. Proficiency in project documentation, site inspections, and vendor management. Expertise in tools such as AutoCAD and MS Office . Ability to lead and manage MEP projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with technical specifications. Preferred: Candidates based in Tamil Nadu or nearby regions, with familiarity with local codes and regulations. Prior experience working in construction projects in South India , especially in Chennai .
