Job Description

Design and Planning:

Lead the design and development of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
Conduct load calculations for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal sizing and efficiency.
Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems into the overall project design.
Review and approve MEP shop drawings and coordination models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Project Execution:

Oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budget, and schedule.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation quality and ensure that the MEP work is progressing as planned.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the construction and commissioning phases.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and systems.

Compliance and Regulatory:

Ensure that all MEP systems are designed and installed in compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals for MEP installations and ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.
Stay up to date with the latest building codes, sustainability practices, and technological advancements in the MEP field.
