Job Profile: MEP Engineer

Location: JNPA Navi Mumbai

Department: Pre-Construction

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, and technical management of Mechanical,

Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, and ICT systems across mixed-use and industrial warehousing projects. The role

ensures design optimization, energy efficiency, and code compliance while integrating MEP systems seamlessly

into overall project designs.

Key responsibilities & Description

MEP Design & Development

- Design HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems for mixed-use projects.

- Conduct load calculations and system analysis for performance and efficiency.

Coordination & Integration

- Collaborate with architectural and structural teams for design alignment.

- Ensure spatial and functional coordination of MEP services.

Quality Control & Compliance

- Review shop drawings, submittals, and contractor documentation.

- Conduct site inspections and monitor installation quality.

Energy Efficiency & Sustainability

- Implement design solutions supporting energy conservation and sustainability.

- Align with LEED, IGBC, and other green building standards.

Project Support & Troubleshooting

- Provide on-site technical support during execution and commissioning.

- Address and resolve MEP-related challenges.

• Education Requirements:

  Bachelors and Masters degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

• Years of experience:

  1012 years in design and engineering of MEP systems in commercial/industrial projects.

• Work Experience Requirements:

  Familiarity with ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, LEED, and IGBC standards.
