Meeting & Event Supervisor till Bellora

As a Meeting & Event Supervisor (MES) at Bellora, located on Avenyn in Gothenburg, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meeting and event bookings. Your main objective will be to exceed guests" expectations and achieve a high Net Promoter Score (NPS). Working alongside a dynamic team, you will contribute to development, feedback, and upselling to enhance the overall experience for our customers. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of service in both service and F&B, continuously striving to improve and develop the operations. Together with the MEM, you will monitor guest satisfaction and take prompt action when necessary to maintain high standards. Additionally, you will oversee the daily operations of the M&E department, ensuring that the team is well-informed about guests" needs and preferences. Your role will involve coordinating group check-ins with the reception, ensuring meeting rooms and technical equipment are in order, and encouraging the team to maximize upselling by proactively identifying products that add value to the guest experience. As a leader, you will be involved in recruiting, onboarding, and developing our M&E Hosts, focusing on their well-being and engagement. Responsibilities: - Plan and coordinate meetings and events from start to finish, guiding groups to the best possible experience - Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow - Manage budgets and handle suppliers - Develop new ideas and concepts for future events - Maintain good relationships with clients through follow-ups and sales efforts Qualifications: - Experience in event planning, sales, or similar roles - Strong communication skills and organizational talent - Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends when required - Ability to work independently and as part of a team You are an outgoing individual with a natural ability to build relationships and connections. Your passion for events and guest experiences, combined with your project management skills, makes you a valuable addition to our team. You are creative, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving. This is a 100% temporary position with varying working hours (day, evening, weekend).
