Salesforce QA Tester

The Case Management Engineering team is responsible for developing an in-house client relationship application. With an increasing focus on understanding and servicing our clients more effectively, the value of an effective CRM strategy and providing a consolidated view of our clients is becoming ever more critical to our business.

Your immediate role as part of the Case Management Engineering team is to ensure that our systems are healthy, monitored, automated and scalable. You will collaborate with product development teams to continually improve our services and facilitate fast delivery of new products, while eliminating toil and operational work.

Primary Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications for Salesforce projects. This includes functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations to identify defects and ensure functionality meets requirements.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system (e.g., Jira). Work closely with developers to reproduce defects, verify fixes, and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand project requirements, provide feedback on design specifications, and ensure that quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
• Test Environment Management: Assist in the setup and maintenance of test environments, including data setup and configuration.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. Research and recommend best practices for Salesforce testing.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results.
• Regression Testing: Execute regression tests to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to evaluate the speed, scalability, and stability of the Salesforce platform and related applications.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on Salesforce testing.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and other Salesforce products.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and techniques.
• Proficient in manual testing techniques, including functional testing, integration testing and regression testing.
• Experience using bug tracking system such as Jira.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Provar or similar tools. Ability to create and maintain automated test scripts.
• Salesforce certification (e.g. Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer) are a plus
