Job Title: Project Manager Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear Industry Job Summary : We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in the Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear industry to lead, coordinate, and manage projects within Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and hands-on experience in the MV switchgear sector. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, a commitment to safety and quality standards, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for MV switchgear projects. Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and clear communication. Ensure that project objectives align with company and client expectations in terms of scope, quality, and timeline. 2. Technical Management: Oversee the technical aspects of MV switchgear projects, including design, installation, testing, and commissioning. Identify potential technical issues and resolve them proactively. 3. Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to minimize project risks. Monitor and manage changes in project scope, adjusting timelines and budgets as necessary to keep projects on track. 4. Team Leadership and Development: Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and monitor team progress. Foster a collaborative team environment and encourage continuous improvement. 5. Quality and Safety Compliance: Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Implement corrective actions for any non-compliance or safety issues identified. 6. Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular project updates to clients and address any concerns promptly. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and maintain strong relationships to support future business. 7. Financial Management: Monitor project financials, including cost control and profitability. Track and report on project financials, including expenditures, revenue, and margin. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resources to maximize project profitability. 8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, plans, and progress reports. Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients as required. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all project activities. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field. PMP certification is an advantage. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the MV switchgear industry or similar electrical engineering fields. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MV switchgear systems, power distribution, and electrical standards in Saudi Arabia. Project Management Skills: Proven experience managing large-scale projects with budgets, timelines, and multidisciplinary teams. Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.
