Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Mediterranean Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will specialize in Mediterranean cuisine, bringing authentic flavors, techniques, and presentation to our menu. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency, and maintaining kitchen standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present Mediterranean dishes such as grilled meats, seafood, mezze, salads, and breads.
• Follow recipes and presentation standards to maintain authenticity and quality.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and available for daily operations.
• Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for Mediterranean specials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Control portion sizes and minimize food waste.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cook / Demi Chef / Commis specializing in Mediterranean cuisine.
• Knowledge of Mediterranean ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques.
• Culinary degree/diploma or relevant training is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
