Healthcare services Clinical Documentation & Medical Records Management. We provide high-quality clinical summarization and medical record abstraction services to hospitals, life-science firms, and health-technology platforms supporting patient care continuity, regulatory submissions, and payer reviews.

Medical Summary Specialist

Location & Workplace:

India On-site role (strict on-site presence)Role & Responsibilities
  • Produce concise, accurate clinical summaries from inpatient and outpatient medical records, discharge notes, operative reports, and ancillary documentation within defined SLAs.
  • Extract and structure key clinical elements diagnoses, problem timelines, medications, procedures, labs, imaging findings, and follow-up plans into standardized summary templates.
  • Validate clinical facts against source records, reconcile discrepancies, and flag ambiguities for clinician clarification or escalation.
  • Apply ICD-10/SNOMED conventions to ensure diagnostic and procedural alignment; coordinate with coding teams where required.
  • Operate EHR platforms and transcription/NLP tools to accelerate summarization while maintaining quality and data security standards.
  • Adhere to data privacy and compliance protocols (HIPAA/GDPR as applicable) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for summarization quality and throughput.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven experience in medical summarization or clinical documentation review for hospitals, payers, or health-tech companies.
  • Strong command of medical terminology and clinical workflows across specialties (medicine, surgery, ED, ICU).
  • Familiarity with ICD-10 and SNOMED conventions for coding-aligned summaries.
  • Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Record systems (EPIC, Cerner, or similar) and medical transcription tools.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and data protection practices for handling patient records.
  • Ability to work accurately under SLA-driven workflows; experience with QA processes or documentation audits.

Preferred

  • Certification in clinical coding or health information management (e.g., CCS, RHIA) or formal training in medical documentation.
  • Experience using clinical NLP/AI-assisted summarization platforms and familiarity with structured data extraction.
  • Previous on-site experience supporting US/EU-based clinical customers or regulatory submissions.
