Role Overview: As a Medical Scribe, your main responsibility will be to accurately document all physician-patient interactions in real-time during consultations. You will also update patient information in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system and prepare patient charts before appointments. It is crucial to ensure timely completion of all documentation requirements while maintaining strict confidentiality and following HIPAA regulations. Additionally, you will collaborate with the medical staff and office team to ensure smooth clinic operations. Key Responsibilities: - Document all physician-patient interactions in real-time - Update patient information in the EHR system - Prepare and organize patient charts for appointments - Retrieve diagnostic test results, lab work, and imaging records - Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Assist with administrative tasks as needed - Collaborate with medical staff and office team for clinic operations Qualifications Required: - Any lifescience degree or equivalent; associate degree in health sciences is a plus - Knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems - Excellent listening and typing skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask - Proficiency with medical software and Microsoft Office tools - Ability to handle sensitive patient data with discretion Please note that the job offers full-time, permanent, and fresher opportunities with benefits including paid sick time and Provident Fund.
