MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVE

Job Title: Medical Representative
Location: Newtown, Kolkata
Experience Required: 1-3 years
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Job Responsibilities:

• Sales & Promotion: Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals including doctors, chemists, and hospitals.
• Market Research: Monitor and report on market trends and competitor products to enhance company sales.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s product range and industry trends.
• Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and hospital staff.
• Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets by effectively promoting products and increasing sales.
• Reporting: Maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports of sales calls, visits, and sales achievements.
• Product Sample Distribution: Distribute product samples to doctors and medical institutions as per the guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy/Biotechnology/Biochemistry or any related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or as a Medical Representative.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of medical terminology and the pharmaceutical market.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
• Others:
• Local knowledge of Newtown, Kolkata is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
