Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, organizing, and safeguarding patient health information and medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and accuracy of healthcare data, supporting billing and reporting, and maintaining patient confidentiality.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, organize, and maintain patient medical records in both electronic and paper formats.​
• Accurately enter and update information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.​
• Code and classify diagnoses and procedures for billing, reimbursement, and statistical purposes.​
• Audit records to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.​
• Retrieve and provide patient information to authorized personnel in accordance with privacy regulations.​
• Communicate with medical staff to complete or clarify patient documentation.​

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Health Information Management, Medical Records Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Proficient with EHR systems and medical coding (ICD-10, CPT) a plus.​
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.​
• Knowledge of healthcare privacy and confidentiality regulations.​
