Medical Physicist cum RSO

Role & Responsibility

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Physicist cum RSO level 3 in IMRT, IGRT, based Cuttack. The professional will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of radiation therapy equipment, planning and evaluating treatment parameters, implementing radiation safety protocols, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Daily tasks will include treatment planning, dosimetry calculations, and providing expertise in medical physics for patient care and safety in collaboration with the oncology team.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Medical Physics and general Physics
• In-depth knowledge of Radiation Safety and related regulatory compliance
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills in medical physics operations
• Certifications or qualifications in Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) Level 3 are mandatory
• Master’s degree in Medical Physics or related field required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work in interdisciplinary teams

Salary will be finalize after discussed with candidate in interview on the basis of experience.
