Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)

• Occupational Health Management

Provide medical care and emergency response for plant personnel; manage occupational illnesses and injuries.

• Statutory Compliance

Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Mines Act, and other applicable health regulations; maintain medical records and reports as per AFIH guidelines.

• Health Surveillance & Screening

Conduct periodic health check-ups, pre-employment medicals, and fitness assessments for employees and contract workers.

• Medical Infrastructure Oversight

Supervise the operation of on-site medical center, ambulance services, and emergency preparedness.

• Preventive Health Programs

Implement awareness campaigns on lifestyle diseases, hygiene, ergonomics, and mental health.

• Documentation & Reporting

Maintain statutory health registers, Form 25, Form 32, and other documentation required by regulatory authorities.

• Shift Readiness & Emergency Response

Be available for shift duties and ensure readiness for medical emergencies during all operational hours.

Educational Background and Work Experience

• Educational Background

  :MBBS with AFIH (Associate Fellowship in Industrial Health) certification mandatory.

• Work Experience

  :Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in industrial health services, preferably in thermal power plants or heavy engineering industries.
