Medical Officer I - Mediclaim Process

As a Medical Record Reviewer at the US based MNC in Vadodara, Gujarat, your role will involve reviewing and verifying large volumes of patient's full medical records with precision. You will be responsible for performing clinical reviews as per defined methodologies and preparing detailed reports including chronologies, timelines, summaries, mass tort matrix, and medical opinions on case validity and valuation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyzing and summarizing medical records for pre and post-settlement projects. - Interpreting clinical data using medical terminology and diagnosis. - Adhering to company policies and principles to maintain the Company culture. - Ensuring compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) at all times. - Reporting daily to the Medical team lead on productivity and quality. **Qualifications:** - MBBS degree is required for both freshers and experienced candidates. - BHMS & BAMS qualifications are accepted for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of claim process experience in any insurance sector. **Required Skills:** - Knowledge of basic health care data analysis and clinical review. - Proficiency in medical terminology, assessments, patient evaluation, and clinical medicine. - Ability to work effectively with Microsoft Word, Adobe, and Excel. **Preferred Skills:** - Familiarity with HIPPA regulations. - Strong critical thinking abilities. - Basic understanding of US culture. - Basic knowledge of organizational culture and behavior. - Roles available as Medical Officer and Medical Team Lead.
