Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Medical Coding Trainer. The Medical Coding Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training materials, conducting coding training sessions, and assessing trainee progress. They will also ensure that trainees are well-versed in medical terminology, coding standards, and health information management. The role includes preparing training schedules, evaluating trainee performance, and providing feedback to help trainees achieve certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Coding Experience and Medical Coding skills
• RHIT certification
• Knowledge of Health Information Management and Medical Terminology
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Previous experience in a training or educational role is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related field
