Medical Coding Faculty

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Coding Faculty to train students in medical coding concepts, medical terminologies, anatomy & physiology, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines. The faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality in online training, preparing teaching materials, evaluating student performance, and guiding them toward certification and placement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver theory and practical training sessions on medical coding subjects including ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS & Medical Billing.

Teach medical terminology, human anatomy & physiology, and healthcare fundamentals.

Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assessments, and presentations.

Conduct tests, assignments, and evaluations to measure student progress.

Guide students for AAPC/CPC certification and provide exam preparation support.

Maintain class discipline and ensure effective learning outcomes.

Manage student queries and provide academic counseling when required.

Ensure batch planning, attendance records, and training reports.

Collaborate with academic and placement teams for student development.

Stay updated with coding guidelines and industry standards.

Participate in faculty development programs and team meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Life Science / Medical / Paramedical / Allied Health Science (B.Sc / M.Sc Nursing, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmacy, etc.)

CPC / CCS certification preferred.

Minimum 1–2 years of teaching or coding experience in the healthcare industry.

Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to train and motivate students effectively.
