Medical Billing Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Medical Billing Executive to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate should be pursuing or completed B. Pharma / D. Pharma, possess a solid understanding of pharmacy and medical knowledge, and be comfortable working on computer systems, especially Excel. Freshers with good learning ability are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage patient bills accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify prescriptions, medicines, and billing codes as per hospital/insurance guidelines.
• Coordinate with doctors, pharmacy, and insurance teams for smooth billing processes.
• Enter and maintain records in MS Excel and hospital software systems.
• Ensure compliance with medical and insurance billing procedures.
• Handle patient queries regarding bills, medicines, and documentation.

Requirements

• Education: Pursuing or completed B. Pharma / D. Pharma.
• Experience: Fresher or up to 1 year in medical billing/pharmacy (preferred).
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of medicines, pharmacy processes, and medical terms.
• Good computer proficiency – especially MS Excel & hospital billing systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle data with accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
