Medical Assistant - Urgent Care - Full-Time - Days/Evenings

• PURPOSE OF JOB : A non-exempt clinical position responsible for performing a variety of duties in an out-patient setting where you will be assisting providers with patient care and managing clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Serves as a liaison to patients, insurance companies, pharmacies and other members of the healthcare team.

Job Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, Medical Assistant diploma preferred

• Experience: Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility in a clinical role preferred
• Other Skills: Must possess a current CPR certification and current health records with the appropriate immunizations to work in the health care field.
  

Knowledge

• Knowledge of health care field and medical office protocols/procedures.

• Interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written)
