Medical Assistant - Urgent Care - Full-Time - Days/Evenings

A non-exempt clinical position is available in an out-patient setting where you will assist providers with patient care and manage various tasks. Your role includes acting as a liaison to patients, insurance companies, pharmacies, and other healthcare team members. Your responsibilities encompass patient care, clerical duties, maintaining environmental standards, organizational tasks, and care navigation. To qualify for this position, you should have a high school diploma, with a Medical Assistant diploma being preferred. A minimum of one year of recent experience in a clinical role within a medical facility is also preferred. Additionally, you must have a current CPR certification and health records showing appropriate immunizations for working in the healthcare field. Having knowledge of the healthcare field and medical office protocols is necessary. Proficiency in interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, is essential. You should be able to project a pleasant and professional image, as well as plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks efficiently.,
