Medical Affairs Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Medical Affairs Lead. The ideal candidate will be a post-graduate (MD) in Pharmacology with a strong background in medical affairs, medico-marketing, and clinical research within the Nutrition, Pharmaceutical or Consumer Healthcare industries. This role requires a professional with a proven track record of leading medical and scientific affairs, driving innovation, and engaging with key scientific leaders and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute medical and scientific affairs initiatives, ensuring alignment with global scientific communication strategies.
• Act as a Medical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for adult nutrition and supplements.
• Develop and lead evidence-based strategies for product innovation and research advancements.
• Design and implement impactful educational programs and materials for healthcare professionals.
• Author and review medical position documents, white papers, and scientific dossiers for regulatory submissions.
• Manage and mentor medical writing teams.
• Collaborate with expert panels and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to develop thought leadership and disseminate brand science.
• Guide promotional material development with a focus on scientific storytelling.
• Manage project budgets and work in a matrix environment with cross-functional stakeholders, including legal, regulatory, and corporate affairs.
• Lead clinical studies from conceptual design to report submission.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• MD in Pharmacology from a premier institute.
• 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in medical affairs, medico-marketing, and clinical research.
• Experience across nutritional, pharmaceutical, or consumer healthcare domains.
• Proven ability to work with and influence scientific leaders and effective HCP/KOL engagement within Delhi NCR, entire North, and neighbouring states / region.
• Demonstrated experience in developing scientific-backed claims and leading regulatory approval processes.
• Strong medical writing skills with experience in authoring scientific publications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
