As a Manager of Media Planning & Buying, you will be tasked with overseeing the strategic planning and execution of media campaigns to support our client's objectives within budget constraints. Your role will involve conducting market research and data analysis to identify target audiences and select the most effective advertising channels, including emerging media platforms. Negotiating media costs and placements will be crucial to ensuring cost-effective campaigns with optimal return on investment. Proficiency in media planning tools, a deep understanding of the advertising industry, and awareness of industry trends are key to success in this role. Your responsibilities will include hands-on expertise in various media channels such as TV, OOH, Print, and Radio. You should be well-versed in media planning tools like YUMI, AIS, IRS, and ABC, as well as possess an understanding of digital and emerging media trends. Managing media planning, buying, and campaign execution for brands, ensuring timely invoicing, tracking campaign performance, and fostering relationships with media partners are essential aspects of the role. Additionally, conducting competition analyses, tactical planning, and post-campaign evaluations will be part of your duties. Collaboration with creative and account teams to align media plans with client goals and messaging is crucial. To qualify for this position, you should have 4 to 5 years of experience in the media or advertising industry and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are required, along with organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential for this role.
